THE MADCAP BORDER HOUSE PARTY at West Malvern. Friday 5th - Sunday 7th December. A weekend of informal morris and folk dancing, feasting, mirth, song and music. Open to anyone with an interest in traditional English folk songs, dances, stories and tunes. Musicians and singers are particularly welcome. Indoor camp for free or use local B&Bs. £27 covers admission to all events, all food and all drink except when in the pub at lunch-times. Book early - this is a popular annual event and people sometimes have to be turned away.

ANNUAL SIEGE at Folly Cottage. A fun water battle for adults and children over the age of six. No definite date as yet, but quite likely to be on the afternoon of Sunday 17th August, at 2.30pm. Ring for details. Families and single people of all ages welcome. Suitable squeezy bottles will be provided for those taking part.

CASTLE-BUFFS GATHERING in early November. Details available later. Still keen to hear from anyone interested in giving a talk, slide-show or other presentation to do with castles, medieval buildings, medieval personalities, sieges, arms & armour, heraldry, etc.

BOARD GAMES SESSIONS. Keen on games like Risk, Buccaneer, Monopoly, Dungeons & Dragons, Kingmaker, etc? Mike would like to hear from you with a view to organising occasional winter afternoon or evening sessions.

NEED A CEILIDH BAND FOR A CELEBRATORY EVENING?  Mike can call ceilidh dances and play drums and percussion with three other local musicians.  Good rocking folk band featuring unusual instruments such as hurdy-gurdy. Reasonable rates.
