THE 27th Annual MADCAP BORDER MORRIS HOUSE-PARTY at West Malvern, Fri 7th to Sun 9th December 2012.

A weekend of informal Border Morris, plus some Molly & Cotswold, folk dancing, feasting, mirth, song and music. Workshops on both traditional and newly created Border Morris dances on Saturday. A chance to learn some Molly dances on Friday evening,  Late-night informal sessions of dancing and then fire-side singing into the early hours both Friday and Saturday. Five mile walking tour in costume around the Malvern Hills on the Sunday. 40-mile views in clear weather.

Open to any individuals with an interest in morris dances or traditional social dances, tunes, songs and stories. Musicians and singers particularly welcome. Beginners also welcome. Indoor camp for free or use local B&Bs. Bookings for this weekend are usually only taken during July, August and September. Please do not send cheques before the end of June, but don’t leave it too late. This is a very popular weekend and is nearly always fully booked by the end of September.
