This book catalogues architectural features, furnishings, fittings and monuments dating from before the Reformation of the mid 16th century to be seen amongst nine hundred parish churches in Wales which existed by the 1530s. Following several introductory sections, over 140 churches with medieval features of special interest are described in detail with plans and colour photographs. More summary information is given on medieval features or contents at about 200 other buildings.
