642 outdoor taps found and tested by Mike Salter since 2020.
A few others (entries in brackets) are not accessible 24/7.
Mostly in England, but a few in Scotland, Wales and Ireland.
The letters and numbers are Ordnance Survey grid references.

Remotely sited churches are unlikely to be mains connected.
Nor are small churches in hilly areas likely to have taps.
Country churchyards are almost always accessible 24/7.
Town churchyards may be locked at night & rarely have taps.
Cemetery taps are only included if usually accessible 24/7.
Cemeteries are burial grounds not containing  parish churches.

With rarely-used taps its best to run off some water first.
Often there’s a dog-bowl or watering can lying nearby.
